Grand Teton National Forest is a beautiful place for taking landscape photos of beautiful mountain ranges and lakes.
Recently, I was lucky enough to get to visit Grand Teton National Forest. Unfortunately, the weather was not the greatest, but nonethless I was still able to snap a few fun shots of the beautiful landscapes there. When it comes to rainy day photography, you have to make the best of the situation and make your stops short. One of my favorite places on my trip was String Lake. This Lake is absolutely gorgeous and even with gloomy skies the colors of the trees and reflection in the lake were beautiful. In addition to beautiful lakes, Grand Teton has some amazing views and if you are lucky you might even see some wildlife like I did! My biggest tip for photographing in this area is to explore different trails and take many short stops. To get the best quality landscapes, I bracketed my images and used the lowest ISO possible. I also used a tripod 90% of the time.
If you decide to take a trip to Teton National Park, I highly recommend taking some time to stop and take a few landscape photos. For more tips on how to take amazing landscape photos, take a look at this blog post by Cynthia Kidwell Photography. Check out the post here.
