Photoshop has some amazing editing tools, one of which can keep your colors and style looking consistent everytime. Let’s take a deep dive into LUT’s!

LUT stands for color look up table. In photoshop, there is an option under adjustment layer called “color look up”.¬† When you click on this option, you will see you have a few different options already loaded into photoshop under 3D LUT File. When you add one of these LUT’s to your image it will add a few image adjustments to obtain a certain look or style. If you don’t like the intensity of the look, all you have to do is turn down the opacity of the adjustment layer until you get the look you are going for. LUT’s can shorten your editing time and help you find your own style as a photographer. If you don’t like the LUT’s already loaded into photoshop, you can also purchase and download some that you do love! Check out these before and after images using Photoshop¬† LUT’s.
